Jacob Jan Bistritzky, 1920-2008

 

 

Jacob J. Bistritzky, founder of the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition and its director for many years, has passed away.

Jasha died at the age of 88, after many years of extensive activity in the field of the arts in Israel, and above all, in the International Piano Master Competition named after his friend Arthur Rubinstein.
