Gala Concert
This concert will host the First Prize winner of the previous Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition, Kirill Gerstein. Ballot
A traditional ballot is held the afternoon before the Competition begins. This ballot determines the order of appearance of the competitors for the entire Competition. The public is invited to attend the excitement - or disappointment of the competitors as they receive their performance order. Following the ballot, the public is invited to join us for a cocktail party and to rub shoulders with the competitors, the adjudicators and the media. Open to the public, free of charge.

Lecture
At the end of the Second Stage, while the jury is deliberating on who will pass to the next stage, Dr. Asaf Zohar will lecture on his personal experience with the Competition and Arthur Rubinstein. Excerpts of Rubinstein's master classes will be screened as part of the lecture.

Semi Finals
The first part of the semi-finals of the Competition will, for the first time in its history, take place in Eilat. The 6 semi-finalists will play chamber music with the Aviv Quartet. In addition, there are other activities which highlight the Piano and its broad range of expression. Jury members will greet the public with sounds from their respective homelands; various jury members will deliver talks; there is a piano and voices program, a Kurt Weill Cabaret as well as a final concert during which the Isrotel Audience Favorite Prize will be awarded. Award Ceremony
At the end of the Competition, the Award Ceremony will take place in the presence of the prize donors as well as distinguished guests from Israel and abroad.
