Junior Jury

Seven young pianists have been selected to serve as Junior Jury at the 15th Competition: Four Israelis and Three non-Israelis, winners of the First Arthur Rubinstein International Youth Piano Competition, Beijing 2016.

Xiaohan Wang, Chairman

One of the leading pianists in China, Xiaohan Wang is a Professor at the Central Conservatory of Music, Beijing, and the Artistic Director of the First Arthur Rubinstein International Youth Piano Competition in Beijing, 2016. In the same year, he also founded the Los Angeles International Piano Master Seminar in the USA.  

Wang is active as a pianist, composer and conductor. As a prizewinner of the ARD Competition in Munich, the Van Cliburn Competition (USA) and the Beethoven Competition (Bonn), he has appeared with major orchestras such as the Israel Philharmonic and the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra. As a chamber musician, he has also collaborated with famous musicians such as cellist Mischa Maisky, Jerusalem Quartet and Takács Quartet.

Motti Fang-Bentov (Israel), 20, a pupil of Tomer Lev at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music, Tel Aviv University. Recipient of the American-Israel Cultural Foundation, the Buchman-Heyman Foundation and the Ronen Foundation scholarships.

Or Fischbein (Israel), 23, a pupil of Ron Regev and Yaron Rosenthal at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. Participated in the Aldwell Center project for outstanding pianists, in Jerusalem.

David Khrikuli (Georgia), 16, a pupil of Revaz Tavadze at the Central Music School for Talented Musicians, Tbilisi. Prizewinner of many international competitions including 3rd prize at the First Arthur Rubinstein International Youth Piano Competition, Beijing.

Elizaveta Kliuchereva (Russia), 17, a pupil of Maxim Zheleznov at the Central Music School at Moscow State P.I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory. Prizewinner of many international competitions including 2nd prize at the First Arthur Rubinstein International Youth Piano Competition, Beijing.

Roni Levy (Israel), 20, a pupil of Emanuel Krasovsky at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music, Tel Aviv University. Recipient of the American-Israel Cultural Foundation scholarship and an Outstanding IDF Musician.

Eran Sulkin (Israel), 20, a pupil of Asaf Zohar at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music, Tel Aviv University. Recipient of the American-Israel Cultural Foundation scholarship and an Outstanding IDF Musician.

Suah Ye (S. Korea), 16, a pupil of Soo Jung Shin. Prizewinner of many international competitions including 1st prize at the First Arthur Rubinstein International Youth Piano Competition, Beijing.
