Kirill Gerstein, 2001 First Prize Winner recipient of the prestigious Gilmore Artist Award

We were delighted to receive the wonderful and exciting news that Kirill Gerstein, First Prize Winner of the 2001 Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition, has been chosen as the latest winner of one of the arts world’s greatest prizes: the $300,000 Gilmore Artist Award, given every four years to an unsuspecting pianist.

Mr. Gerstein, 30, is the sixth member of an elite and eclectic group of pianists that includes Piotr Anderszewski, Leif Ove Andsnes and Ralf Gothóni, among others.

The Gilmore Artist Award is presented on a non-competitive basis to an exceptional pianist who, regardless of age or nationality, has the potential to sustain a career as a major international concert artist.

Warmest greetings to our winner! He deserves nothing but praise!
