A benefit piano recital was held in a private mansion in Midtown Manhattan.

This piano event was the first of a series to establish the
American Circle of Friends of the Arthur Rubinstein Piano Master Competition, the 11th of which will be held in 2005 in Tel Aviv, Israel.

The pianist on October 13th was Alon Goldstein from Israel.
Mr. Goldstein, who has already embarked on an international career, resides in Washington DC and had generously volunteered to play for the Competition (for more information about him go to www.franksalomon.com/Artist.asp?ArtistID=15).

Admission to the recital $250 (per person).

Membership for the American Circle of Friends of the ARIMS: $1,000 (for one year including one admission to the Recital)
